• 1. Agreement on the Terms of Use
  Go to the application form after agreeing to the Terms of Use.
• 2. Filling out the application form / sending.
  An acceptance of application wiill be sent to the email address you have enterd.
• 3. A notificarion of the U.R.L for the downloading of photos.
• 4. Photo Downloads (effective for seven days)

Terms of TCVB Photo Library Use

1. Purpose of Image Data Use

The image data of the library may be used for promoting tourism in Tokyo. Uses, purposes, and others. seen as unsuitable by Tokyo Convention & Visitors Bureau (hereinafter referred to as "TCVB") or those that violate article 4 "4 Prohibited Uses" are forbidden.

2. On Use of the Images

• (1) Users are required to agree to the terms and filling in the required items in Application Form, and send it to TCVB.
• (2) TCVB examines the legitimacy of the contents in the applications. At least three days are required before acceptance.
• (3) The U.R.L. for downloading images is sent only to those who have been approved. The images can be downloaded up to three times for each image data, and within seven days after the U.R.L. has been sent.
• (4) The U.R.L. for downloads may not be sold and transferred to others.
• (5) The use of this service is free of charge.

3. Credit Titles

Please specify the credit name of TCVB when using the service.

4. Prohibited Uses

The acts in the following provisions with use of the library's image data are prohibited. If these provisions are violated or uses of the images are not in accordance with article 1; TCVB may suspend its uses and recollect them or have them destroyed at the expense of the user in violation.

• (1) Any act with use of the library's image data that leads to fraudulence, misunderstandings, and slandering, or disturbs public order and morals
• (2) Uses where any of the image data in the library include merchantability (collections of digital data, postcards, and calendars, etc.)
• (3) Use the image data in websites
• (4) Leak/sales of any of the image data that allows secondary use of the materials such as rentals by those other than the user
• (5) Distribution, duplication, and others. to and for third parties
• (6) Direct links to TCVB Photo Library

5. Copyrights

Copyrights of all posted photos belong to TCVB. Acts that infringe on copyrights are strictly forbidden. However, TCVB does not holds any of portrait rights, trademarks, copyrights, and patent rights on people, products, structures, locations, and others that are shown in the photos. TCVB is not responsible for any conflicts concerning these rights or conflicts that may arise with third parties due to the use of these photos.

6. Note

One-time use of the image data for publications and others listed in the “Purpose of Use” column in Application Form is permitted by lending in accordance with this terms, but another applications must be made for reprints, the same uses, changes in designs and others.

7. Compliance with the Terms

The images may not be lent again to those who fail to comply with the terms.
